August 2025

Rekindle Holiday Club will offer an exciting, hands-on outdoor experience where young people can explore traditional crafts and earth-based skills within our 3/4 acre rewilded forest garden and permaculture site.

Each day offers two separate sessions:

  • Morning session: 10:00am – 2:00pm

  • Afternoon session: 2:30pm – 6:30pm

Participants will be guided by Scott (lead mentor) alongside a rotating team of skilled craftspeople, with activities including:

  • Fire lighting & safe fire management

  • Shelter building & navigation

  • Whittling & green woodworking

  • Leatherwork

  • Natural dyeing with plants & herbs

  • Willow weaving & simple basketry

  • Introduction to metalwork (basic forging, simple tools)

  • Wild food foraging & herb-lore

  • Outdoor cooking over open fires.

Our flexible programme allows for participant choice, and every activity is adapted to suit individual abilities, confidence levels, and sensory needs. The focus is on developing practical skills, confidence, teamwork, and connection to nature in a supportive, inclusive environment.
