The Wildlings Journal
This blog is part diary, part reflection, and part exploration of the ideas behind Wildlings.
Here we share moments from our holiday clubs and outdoor learning sessions, photographs from the land, and essays exploring nature-based education, Steiner principles, heritage crafts and the importance of childhood spent outdoors.
Over time it will become a record of the journey — how the Wildlings project is growing, evolving and learning alongside the children who spend time here.
A Wonderful Easter at Wildlings Holiday Club
A joyful week of craft, discovery and muddy hands at Wildlings Holiday Club. From willow weaving and papermaking to tasting wild garlic by the stream, the children explored nature, learned new skills, and shared nourishing food together at our Outdoor Education Hub in the Forest of Dean.
